DR. DOUGLAS ALLAN Halcrow, MD / founder (In Memoriam)

As the founder of Pavilion Neurology Medical group, Dr. Douglas A. Halcrow spent 40 years at Providence St. Joseph Hospital, where he earned the admiration of patients and colleagues as both a physician and vice president of medical affairs. He was a distinguished Neurologist, specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system. With expertise in handling complex conditions like epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and migraines, Dr. Halcrow employed advanced techniques and personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. He was committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in neurological research and therapies and he was admired for his clinical excellence and dedication to patient care. He tirelessly advocated for nursing education and physician-nurse collaboration.

Dr. RICHARD DAUBEN, MD / PArtner (RETIRED)

As one of the original doctors at Pavilion Neurology Medical Group, Dr. Dauben is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  He served as the director of the Stroke Center at St. Joseph Hospital and of the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory at St. Joseph Hospital.  He has had a long standing fascination with the brain and higher cortical functions.  Ever since his start, his special interest and passion was in computer programming, artificial intelligence, and computerized monitoring of the brain.  He developed a number of computer applications for use in neurological and general practice, including iPhone applications NIH Stroke Scale Scorer, NIHSS_Esp (NIHSS Scorer in Spanish), and Hospital Rounds.
